PLAST-O-MATIC

NSF/ANSI Standard 61 & Lead-Free/U.S. Safe Water Drinking Act Compliance

Statement of Compliance

Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc. products are compliant with the lead-free definitions required by the US Safe Drinking Water Act and other definitions, including NSF. That definition is as follows:

  • A maximum weighted lead content requirement of 0.25 percent (0.2 percent for solders and fluxes).

  • We also comply with REACH and RoHS directives, which are more restrictive in the number of substances and % weight / weight.

  • SVCH less than 0.1% w/w. For this, we can provide a declaration of conformity per SKU.

Plast-O-Matic no longer seeks specific product certification by WQA/NSF. In lieu of that, our suppliers have exhaustive certification of the materials we use to build our products. Our website has links to each of these certifications, as well as our formal statement of compliance here:

This statement attests that in addition to raw materials, that our molding, machining, fabrication, assembly, cleaning and testing procedures, as well as our packaging materials, are within the defined thresholds.
